A Professional Level 7 Training
Where Nature, Creativity and Depth Meet

COMING 2027

Nature-Inspired Expressive Arts: Therapy & Leadership

Blue Pearl trains nature-inspired, trauma-informed expressive arts practitioners to work in the most challenging contexts — therapeutic and organisational. This is a Level 7 programme for those who are ready to practise at the deepest edge of the field.

WHAT IS A LEVEL 7 QUALIFICATION?

Level 7 is the UK postgraduate level — equivalent to a Master’s degree in depth and academic demand. It is recognised internationally as an advanced professional qualification for professional practitioners and leaders.

Year 1 — Shared Core Curriculum

All students complete a shared foundational year, learning together across diverse professional backgrounds.

Include:

  • Intermodal expressive arts

  • Polyvagal theory

  • Nature-based practice

  • Collective trauma

  • Cross-cultural responsiveness

  • Embodied leadership

Year 2 — Specialist Pathways

Students choose the pathway aligned with their professional calling.

Expressive Arts Therapy

Pathway One

For practitioners working in:

  • Therapeutic settings

  • Mental health

  • Trauma recovery

  • Community healing

Outcome:
Graduate as a qualified expressive arts therapist, eligible to pursue professional registration.

Pathway Two

Expressive Arts Leadership & Facilitation

For practitioners working in:

  • Organisations

  • Education

  • Facilitation

  • Leadership development

  • Community contexts

Outcome:
Graduate as a qualified expressive arts leadership practitioner.

Both pathways integrate polyvagal theory, intermodal expressive arts, nature-based practice, collective trauma, and cross-cultural responsiveness.

Both lead to a Level 7 Diploma.

The programme is delivered through a hybrid model — combining online learning with immersive residential intensives on the Gower Peninsula in Wales and in Siem Reap, Cambodia. This design is intentional: it makes advanced training genuinely accessible across geographical and economic boundaries, and places learning within two landscapes of profound natural and cultural significance. A tiered fee structure and scholarship places ensure that practitioners from the Global South and lower-resource contexts can participate fully and on equal terms.

“Two roads diverged in a wood, and I —
I took the one less travelled by,
and that has made all the difference.”

— Robert Frost
